Virtual Round Table: Who benefits – releasing the value in your supply chain
6th October 2020 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm
It’s been a while since we held our last Working Capital Forum round table lunch. So we’ve decided that if we can’t invite our members to lunch, we’ll bring lunch to our members. Our next Working Capital Forum round table will be held online – but we’ll make sure all the features that make these private events so great are still there.
We’ll still be encouraging open discussion between peers under the Chatham House Rule. We’ll still restrict attendance to corporate treasury and procurement professionals. We’ll still be discussing issues around managing working capital in larger corporations. The difference is that UK treasury and procurement professionals can join us from their desks – or sofas, studies or kitchen tables – and that we’ll be sending lunch to them, with a hamper packed with delicious food and fine wine to open and enjoy during our conversation.
That way, we can have the benefits of an online event without missing out on the lunch. Our theme for discussion is ‘Who benefits: Releasing the value in your supply chain’, and we’ll be looking at how to structure a supplier finance programme to delver either cost savings or working capital benefits, as well as supporting your suppliers in these challenging times. Even though we’re online, we’re still limiting attendance to just ten UK treasury and procurement professionals, so we can’t promise that everyone who applies will be able to attend. We’ll be operating a ‘first come, first served’ approach, so do request your place as soon as possible.
When your attendance is confirmed, we’ll courier your hamper to you in plenty of time to join us online on Tuesday, 6th of October at 12.30 pm.
